Woman's voice at nagpakilala na BPI Philam (i am a BPI card holder) offering insurance for as low as 800 pesos. 2k ata nung umpisang offer nya na tinanggihan ko hanggang sa naging 800 nalang pero tinanggihan ko parin. Di daw maaavail sa mismong bank kasi special offer lang daw through phone calls yun. Then hiningi last bill statement kung kelan binigay. Sabi ko not sure sa date.

Same experience with others. They pretended they’re from BPI, told them I was busy because I know for sure—BPI never calls me lmao, and I asked them if they can just email the details and they said it could only be done via phone so there, it was a scam. Didn’t fall for it and just ended the call blocking the number since they mentioned earlier they’re gonna call me again.

Caller said she was from BPI Philam offering their plan (Smart Health Shield Plus). Since i'm kinda busy di ko naisip na baka scam to and give some of my details including my cc number :( because she knows it also. But nung umaabot na 20mins call namin eager sya na kunin address ko and ung plan kahit hindi pa ako nag aagree. I tried to google this number, that's when I ended up to this page. and saw that It might be fraud. I ended it right away and she called me again. I just said that I will go to the BPI Branch now and direct to my agent about the plan. She said inooffer lang yung plan through phone.. bla blah.. After what I said, she end the call right away. She said her name was Raniel Cernero but upon checking on google there's a profile that's a guy with the same name that works at BPI Philam on his bio. Maybe she's getting his identity or what. But beware!!

Same here. I fell for it because they know some of my personal info which is I thought are really from BPI after the call I did some research (search the telephone number), I saw a lot of complaints. I immediately call the bank to disable my cc. :(

My number is available to every supplier we have. However when this number called me, I felt a strange vibe that I should not answer this call. I was also not expecting any deliveries from my supplier so I really got suspicious of this. It called 3 times. During the 2nd ring, I searched the number online, and this blog came up. I'm glad I did not answer it. The gut feeling was true. Hahahaha. Never answer suspicious calls especially if you're not expecting anything from an unknown number.

This number called me twice, I missed it the first time but I answered the second time hoping it's from the company I applied for. Name of the caller is Marisol, she'll introduce herself as an agent from BPI Philam life. Suspicious but I still entertained her call, just to see where it'll go. She asked me questions for confirmations and to my surprise, she recited my credit card details correctly, from the cc number up to the date of expiry. I ended the call immediately and contacted my bank right after to have my CC blocked. BE AWARE.

Called 3x: I missed the 1st one. 2nd one, no one is speaking and no noise and just hung up. 3rd one, some background voice from people around the caller but hung hung after 3 seconds.
